In the MCU, most superhero costumes have been modified from their counterparts in the comics, with the designers giving them a more modernized look. However, the epic reveal in the finale showed the Scarlet Witch donning a much more modern look, keeping in line with the costumes worn by many other members of the Avengers. In WandaVision episode 6, “ All-New Halloween Spooktacular!,” the costume was first teased with Wanda dressing as the Scarlet Witch from the comics, referring to her look as a “Sokovian fortune-teller." She was seen wearing a bright red unitard with a cape, opera gloves, and tights along with the classic red face-framing headpiece. While the stone connects to Vision, it is also responsible for elevating Wanda’s powers, as seen in Episode 8, “Previously On,” when Wanda encounters Loki's scepter and the Mind Stone at the Hydra headquarters. “You are the piece of the Mind Stone that lives in me,” Wanda responds when questioned by Vision about his life in the finale. To add on, other fans pointed out how the crown that the Scarlet Witch wears has a blank space that happens to be on Wanda’s forehead - the same spot as Vision’s Mind Stone. Fans are convinced that this was an intentional nod to their relationship, especially keeping in mind Wanda’s explanation for Vision’s existence in Westview. Many fans have shared side-by-side photos of Vision and the Scarlet Witch’s costumes on Twitter to emphasize how both shapes are exactly the same. Fans of the MCU have seen the stone embedded in Vision's forehead for years, and they were amazed at how it became a part of Wanda’s true identity.
But, fans have pointed out how the neckline has a cut-out, which is in the exact shape of the Mind Stone.
The costume, with shades of maroon, red and black, is definitely an upgrade from what the Scarlet Witch wears in the comics. Now, a few keen-eyed WandaVision fans have spotted something that they believe could only be Wanda’s way of honoring Vision’s memory. As soon as the final episode aired, her appearance became a topic of conversation on social media, with many fans focusing on her costume.
